Commodore Saxtus Fayhan

"Courage, Commitment, Honor"

USS Bataan MSD.jpg

Courage, Commitment, Honor - the motto of our small but proud vessel. It is a creed we have striven to uphold in the wake of the treachery that has dominated the Divine War.

While we are not as large or as powerful as a mighty Sovereign or as well-equipped for exploration and research as a Luna or Intrepid, this ship is more than capable of handling itself on the battlefield or on a survey mission. I can say without exaggeration that this is one of the finest, most advanced starships in the Fleet, and I am proud to be captain of this ship and crew.

- Commodore Saxtus Fayhan, Commanding Officer

Saxtus Fayhan, a decorated veteran of the Dominion War, returned from medically-induced retirement to take his first command, the New Hampshire - "the little ship that started the big war". Upon its destruction at the Battle of Kelenek'che'sa, Fayhan was given a fighting vessel, the Diligent-class Bataan. While the flag officers give the orders, Fayhan is the acknowledged leader of the war effort and his knowledge has been used to the fullest in the conflicts he has fought in.
